Creators Note
If you’re unaware, Wizard101, what this challenge is based on, is a popular MMO originally made for children and families to play together but has since grown into a community that houses ages all across the spectrum. You’re an aspiring young wizard that has joined Ravenwood School of Magical Arts, ready to tackle the Spiral and defeat evil.
Prologue
For generations, your family has produced bright young wizards that have reached the top of their school at breakneck speeds, conquering the Spiral and any evil that may cross their path. However, the past few generations of your family have produced less than average wizards, most of whom have dropped out of school altogether! Although you managed to graduate from Ravenwood, your grades were just shy of being average and you’re not nearly as strong as those that graduated with you.
Your ancestors are furious and you’re determined to turn around your bloodline and reclaim the glory your family name once held. You don’t have a plan, but your determination burns deep within you, ready to take the wizarding world by storm. Watch out, Ravenwood, you’re not prepared for what’s to come!
How to Play
First, you must decide what type of gameplay you’re looking for because there are two ways to tackle this challenge.
- Option A: Raise seven wizards one by one, similar to the 100 Baby Challenge.
- Option B: Raise seven wizards through seven generations, similar to the legacy challenge.
Once you’ve chosen what type of gameplay you want, it’s time to create your founder. Make them look any way you want, any gender and aspiration/traits. If you choose Option A, I recommend choosing Family-Oriented to help raise the young ones. Now that you have your founder, you can choose to make their partner or find one in the world. You can move into any world/lot and money is not important. The challenge begins when the first child is born.
Personally, I recommend using each school’s color for the child’s hair and eyes, but feel free not to.
I’ve done my best to include only base game items. If you don’t have a pack, feel free to skip or replace it with whatever you think fits! The Inherited Traits, for example, come from the Seasons pack. You can just skip this if you haven’t got it.
You don’t have to do them in the order I put them! I chose the order that they are listed on the official site, so feel free to mix them up in whatever way you feel fits your own unique storyline.
Aging Up
- Babies may be aged up as soon as the New Baby Moodlet disappears.
- Toddlers may be aged up after maxing at least three skills.
- Children may be aged up after maxing at least three skills, getting an A in school and, if you have Seasons, earning at least 4 scout badges.
- Teens may be aged up after reaching level 2 of their aspiration, maxing at least five skills, getting an A in school and, if you have Seasons, earning all badges.
- The new generation begins when the heir becomes a Young Adult (option b) OR each child may move out of the house as a Young Adult to keep the house small as you raise the next wizard (option a).

Final Thoughts
If you play Wizard101, please don’t get upset if I got the personality of your school wrong. I used a mixture of my own perception, how the NPCs act, how I’ve seen characters act, plus how the site itself describes the schools to determine the aspirations and traits. It’s not meant to call out anyone! Remember – everyone perceives things differently.
Thanks for checking out this challenge, I do hope you enjoy it ^-^ I worked hard to put it together, but it has not been tested currently. If you want to give it a try or have some feedback, suggestions, etc. feel free to leave a comment here or contact me on the forums here.
