In the Thirteen Ghosts Challenge, your sim is tasked to capture thirteen souls via Book of Life. Once all thirteen are dead, your sim must summon all of them to complete the challenge.

Beginning

1. Create a young adult or adult sim.
2. Choose any gender or traits.
3. Must have the Bestselling Author aspiration.
4. Move into any neighborhood/lot that you can afford.
5. Sim’s lifespan should be set to short (I may alter this).
6. Auto age household and unplayed.

Goals and Guidelines

1. Complete the Bestselling Author aspiration.
2. Use potions of youth to keep Grim at bay.
3. Master the heart (Joke Star), mind (Nerd Brain), and body (Bodybuilder) – optional.
4. Capture the Epic Saga aka capture thirteen souls.
5. If a Sim has overlapping traits, choose 1 to represent them.
6. Observant trait is encouraged.
7. When your sim has captured a saga, name the book with the sim’s name and the description as the essence (John Doe will be the title, Wrath will be the description).
8. You can keep these in the bookcase to keep them safe – sell all other books.
9. When a captured sim dies, your sim must plant a flower as an offering – must be in a garden pot (recommended – have one room with 13 garden pots).

12. essence of Blood / Any (must be sim’s child)
13. essence of Water / Shared Trait (must be best friend)

The Ritual

When all 13 sims are dead and all 13 pots are flowered, the ritual must commence.

• Begin between 9pm and 12am.
• Have all 13 books in your inventory.
• Stand next to a long table.
• Begin summoning.
• Take a screenshot of all 13 ghosts in one picture.
• The ritual is complete.

Scoring

• Flower Offering Score (130 Point Limit)
  • +10 for Perfect Quality
  • +9 for Pristine Quality
  • +8 for Superb or Magnificent Quality
  • +7 for Good, Great or Excellent Quality
  • +5 for Normal, Nice or Very Nice Quality
  • -5 for each plant that you replace or dispose.

• Relationship Score (130 point limit)
  • +10 for each Good Friend, Soulmate or Sweetheart
  • +8 for each Friend or Lovebird
  • -2 for each captured sim that decays to Acquaintance.

• Trait Score (130 point limit)
  • +10 for each Reward Store Trait purchased

• Aspiration Score (110 point limit)
  • +40 for completing Bodybuilder
  • +40 for completing Nerd Brain
  • +30 for completing Joke Star

• Cosmic Penalties
  • -5 for each time you peed on yourself. Gross.
  • -10 for moving in a custom-made or player-made sim into a lot
  • -10 each time you age any sim by cake.
  • -25 for each captured sim you murder by trapping them within walls.
  • -100 for aging from adult to elder
  • -100 for aging from young adult to adult
  • -75 for moving any sim to your household
  • -75 for keeping a baby or child in your household for more than 24 hours
  • -250 for dying
  • -13,000 for using cheats
    • Allowed cheats are:
      • freerealestate for homeless/out-of-world sims.
      • complete current aspiration for Writer’s Block only.

Ranking

• 500: You are worthy of godhood. Claim your prize by ascending to the heavens! You can use any cheats and settings from this point on. You can also reign terror or dominance to the neighborhood you are in.
• 499-400: Not perfect, but still a worthy struggle. Immortality will be bestowed to you. You cannot use any cheats, but you can stop aging by changing the settings.
• 399-300: No immortality will be gifted to you, but a trove of wealth is guaranteed. Shame that your wealth cannot come with you in the netherrealm. You are allowed to use a money cheat with any amount. That’s it.
• 299-200: For your efforts (if you can call it that) you are gifted a classic deluxe custom designer luxury prestige high-quality premium select gourmet pocket pencil sharpener, courtesy of the god of comedy himself, George Carlin.
• 199-100: Congratulations, you are still dying from mortality!
• 99-0: Because your intention was to capture souls and use them for your own benefit, not only will you be wasting away from your mortality, but in the next life, you are damned to be reincarnated as a garden gnome.
