Vongola Legacy Challenge

I’ve been wanting to create a challenge for a while, but I’ve been wracking my brain only to come up empty. Today, I finally thought of what I hope will be a decent challenge for you all! It’s based off one of my favorite anime, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, but you don’t have to know the anime or even be a fan of anime to participate.

I hope you enjoy it =D This is my very first challenge, so I hope everything looks good!

The Vongola is a mafia family known around the globe. Some fear them, some admire them, and some hate them. It’s up to you to decide the fate of the Vongola through nine generations.

There are two main goals for this challenge.

The first is for the current boss (the holder of the sky ring) to complete their aspiration. The second is for the current boss to have at least three children, one of whom will become the boss of the next generation.

Note for those that know the anime: I know the snow flame is not real, but I really wanted to add it to this challenge! I also considered adding the Flames of Earth, but I figured it would be too long so I held back. Maybe in the future?

A challenge is meant to be fun, not bogged down by rules and pitting you against other players for points. This challenge is relaxed, so play at your own pace and use whatever mods/cheats make you happy. The only thing I ask of you is that you link back to this post if you do the challenge and tag your posts with #vongolalineage so I can read/watch your beautiful entries =D

I will be listing items made specifically for the challenge to make it as fun/interesting as possible, but it’s up to you if you actually want to play that way!

To get started with this challenge, create a young adult sim with orange hair and eyes. They can be any gender, have any traits but they must have FAMILY-ORIENTEDas one of the traits and their aspiration should be FRIEND OF THE WORLD. This will be the current boss of the Vongola, the Guardian of the Sky.

Choose any world, any lot size. You can build your dream home or you can set a limit for yourself by starting from scratch, the possibilities are endless! Personally, I recommend buying/building/grabbing a small house or cabin from the gallery and slowly expanding as your family grows. This will be the Vongola Headquarters – you must not move from this lot until you “retire”, in which case the next generation heir takes over the household and everyone else moves out. Money isn’t a goal of this challenge so you can set yourself a starting amount or spam motherlode!

Spouses can be anyone – any gender, traits, aspirations. You can make them or grab them from the gallery. You don’t have to get married, either. Feel free to be the independent parent you want to be!

Don’t hesitate to grab some beautiful sims from the gallery to fill your world with (because who wants to start a legacy with the plain old default sims?)

You will be asked to have at least three children per generation. These are the Guardians of the Sky and each generation will revolve around a different flame type.

The game can be set on any lifespan you feel comfortable with, but aging must be turned on (at least for the current/active household). For aging up, please see “Choosing An Heir” below.

Before you can choose an heir, you must have at least three children. Heirs can only take over the family after all children have become young adults. If you want to extend the challenge, you can wait until the current boss dies before the next generation begins. When a new heir officially takes over, ALL other members of the household must be moved out.

The following must be met before you can age up your children:

~~Babies can be aged up as soon as you get the notification: “it’s almost ___’s birthday!”~~ I removed this rule because I can’t stand the babies lol Feel free to age them up at your own discretion.
Toddlers can be aged up after reaching at least level 3 in all skills (though you can choose level 5 if you so please).
Kids can be aged up as soon as their aspirations are complete and they get an A in school.
Teenagers can be aged up as soon as they get an A in school and get a promotion in any part-time job.

You can choose whatever child you’d like to take on the role of Sky Guardian (aka, the boss), or set your own rules for heirs (like the original legacy challenge).

Each generation will come with a set of items that must be completed before you can move on to the next generation! Because each generation is based on the rings in the anime, they will have a set hair and eye color. When you have children, you must edit them to follow the theme of that generation.

When it comes to the aspirations of your heirs, you can choose whichever you want when they age up to teenagers, but once you’ve chosen an official heir, you must change their aspiration to adhere to the goals BEFORE they take over. This is set so you can choose an heir whenever you want! Unless you want to give all of your children the same aspiration.

Have at least three children (all must have red hair and eyes).
Toddlers must have the CLINGY trait.
Children must have the HOT-HEADED trait.
Heir must have the CHIEF OF MISCHIEF aspiration.

Complete CHIEF OF MISCHIEF aspiration.
Reach the top of the Criminal career (optional).
Max mischief and handiness skills.
Have at least three children (all must have bright blue hair and eyes).
Toddlers must have the ANGELIC trait.
Childen must have the OUTGOING trait.
Heir must have the MASTER CHEF aspiration.

Complete MASTER CHEF aspiration.
Reach the top of the Criminal career (optional).
Max cooking and fishing skills.
Have at least three children (all must have yellow hair and eyes).
Toddlers must have the WILD trait.
Children must have the BRO trait.
Heir must have the BODYBUILDER aspiration.

Complete the BODYBUILDER aspiration.
Reach the top of the Criminal career (optional).
Max fitness and bowling skills (if you don’t have bowling, choose any).
Have at least three children (all must have green hair and eyes).
Toddlers must have the SILLY trait.
Children must have the JEALOUS trait.
Heir must have the SERIAL ROMANTIC aspiration.

Complete the SERIAL ROMANTIC aspiration.
Reach the top of the Criminal career (optional).
Max woodworking and mixology skills.
Have at least three children (all must have purple hair and eyes).
Toddlers must have the INDEPENDENT trait.
Children must have the LONER trait.
Heir must have the FRIEND OF THE ANIMALS aspiration (if you don’t have Pets, choose PUBLIC ENEMY).

Complete FRIEND OF THE ANIMALS/PUBLIC ENEMY aspiration.
Reach the top of the Criminal career (optional).
Max logic and writing skills.
Have at least three children (all must have indigo hair and eyes)
Toddlers must have the INQUISITIVE trait.
Children must have the GENIUS trait.
Heir must have the RENAISSANCE SIM aspiration.

Complete the RENAISSANCE SIM aspiration.
Reach the top of the Criminal career (optional).
Max programming and piano skills.
Have at least three children (all must have white/light gray hair and eyes)
Toddlers must have the ANGELIC trait.
Children must have the GLOOMY trait.
Heir must have the PAINTER EXTRAORDINAIRE aspiration.

Complete the PAINTER EXTRAORDINAIRE aspiration.
Reach the top of the Criminal career (optional).
Max painting and violin skills.
Have at least three children (all must have brown hair and eyes)
Toddlers must have the INDEPENDENT trait.
Children must have the LOVES THE OUTDOORS trait.
Raise all children to young adults.
